Pattaya hotels

Pattaya, on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand, was a small fishing village until the early 1960's when it was invaded by American soldiers and sailors seeking rest and recreation while on leave from serving in Vietnam. It has since that time blossomed up into a cosmopolitan city full of entertainment, excitement and attractions.

It’s a vibrant city night and day and a place of never ending spirit. Its population is a colourful potpourri of mixed nationalities from near and far. A vast range of tourism-related activities await the pleasure of visitors, from relaxing on the beach, actively taking part in land and sea-based sports to visiting the scores of attractions in and around Pattaya.

The half-moon-shaped Pattaya Beach is about 4 kilometres long with a road running parallel to the beach. From mid-section to the southern end of the area is a vast array of restaurants, bars, department stores, souvenir stores, as well as other places of entertainment. To the north of the beach are various mini-resorts and hotels in a quieter atmosphere.

Pattaya is a true paradise destination with excellent hotels and resorts, delightful gourmet, good possibilities for shopping, plenty of water sports and sleepless nightlife. And are you interested in golf there are many fantastic golf courses in this region.

For local transportation, the "Song Thaeo" mini-buses make the routes along the Beach Road and Pattaya 2nd Road.
